All The Grief: podcast interview
Alhamdulillah: Embracing Grief, Gratitude, and the Power of Poetic Connection
What do grief, gratitude, and poetry have in common? Well, everything. How could it be otherwise? I had the tender privilege of joining Andrea and Rebecca from All the Grief for a second interview (first interview here). As the title suggests, we discussed grief and gratitude in the context of alhamdulillah and poetry. This was recorded around the alhamdulillah anyway gathering, and on a day when some in my family had to leave their home due to a missile. Grief was fresh that day, so we brought in what felt true in relation to the war and the necessary return to gratitude. I hope you find the time to listen to this conversation. May this reach that place in you that recognizes the brilliance of its own grief. Your insights and reflections are welcome and encouraged.

Listened to the whole thing and it was exactly what I needed right now. But one more thing is I need to know how to say Light for the World in Arabic so I can start calling you that. 🌟
