I have love the old poiesis since I first came upon it many decades ago. I also like a lot your use of its, at least, dual meanings here in your poem. Indeed.
I also write this as someone who once had acute myeloid leukemia. The process of creation began going bad in my marrow and making misinformed cells. Fortunately, that has now ceased in me though I still write strange and sometimes awkward poetry.
Friend, I am glad you healed from acute myeloid leukemia. Praise the way it informed your poetry though. The strange is beautiful, and often enticing. And who isn't awkward? Asking for a friend.
You already know I love this one, but now you are reminded 💗 It’s the ending for me - but that’s not fair to say because maybe the ending wouldn’t be what it is, if not for how you got us there 😊
This is breathtaking and beautifully done. I love the interrelationships you bring to light. Shukrun, habibi.
Shukran Liesl <3 I hope your heart is well, and the poems are flowing in you.

I do the love that word and think about it often.

It gladdens me so how much you love this poem! The best gift us poets can receive is to know how much of an impact our work has had on others <3
Magnificent1
Thank you <3
Just …..wow!
☺️
Beautiful, Moudi! When I was in the hospital, I learned about this notion of blood poetry/creation, and I’ve loved it ever since! Thank you.
It's really fascinating what our bodies can do, and fun to study and name them!
