Character
The first rule of a stew is to eat it
fresh off the hearth. The other first
rule is to let it sit in the fridge for
a day, or two. To sit with experience
for a day, or two, long enough till
every ingredient melts into the pot,
and everything that touches your
lips is then pungent with wisdom,
distilled from the very stuff of
your own life.
- Moudi Sbeity

Oh, this poem made me laugh outloud in delight! Yes, stew tastes better the next day - as well as my Italian grandmother's pasta sauce. What a wonderful metaphor to bring to wisdom.
oooh YUM! The poem, and the stew. Recipe, please!
Your work is gorgeous, Moudi. You are a joy.
