Love this, Moudi!

" clear anything that feeds it, strip down each moment to its bare patient breath, gather the large stones of your grief and build a circle."

What a beautiful piece, Moudi. I'm gathering large stones...

Thank you Kathy 🙏 May those stones provide enough comfort and containment <3

Thank you Moudi. “…..each moment to it’s bare, patient breath “. I’m sitting with that today.

Ooooh, Moudi, this metaphor was so helpful to me this morning and had me gasping in delight! Thank you for writing and sharing this poem. What a helpful friend when shame, or alarm, or frustration overwhelms my forest.

And do they overwhelm my forest! More often than I care to admit. Now we have one more metaphor to lean in to <3

I love this Moudi - it's been a very raw week.

Thank you,

"Gather the large stones of your grief and build a circle". Interestingly, I just read this poem. Sometimes I'll get behind on reading emails and then go back to them. Just a few minutes ago I made a comment on your "Make of your troubles an adornment", that I will repeat here. Reminds me of the beginning of the poem PRAY by Pádraig Ó Tuama:

"So let us pick up the stones

over which we stumble, friends,

and build altars."

Isn't it magical how these things can link? Padraig's poem speaks perfectly to this and the Kali poem. Let's build altars, wherever we find ourselves <3

....cleared you thru to grace.

Yes, grace alone, grace alive and opening the way to let grace give birth.

Stop holding on to what is dead, I implore myself.

So hard, new life makes us labor to deliver.

Yes, let the dying go and make room for new growth <3

My pleasure, may it carry you further than you imagined.
