I have often thought it very interesting that something as lovely as a pearl starts as a grain of sand that must irritate the mollusk so that it is coated (smoothed) over and over again to become the pearl. How we become "smoother" and perhaps more lovely as time and concerns coat us with more understanding and that love is not finite....it grows to encompass so much as we learn and grow. Thank you for this!
